Our new Mazak Syncrex 38/8 swiss CNC machine arrived last week and has already had the attention of a half dozen technicians. The teams from Mazak and Edge Technologies have been working on the install since Friday morning, before the machine even arrived, to ensure we can be into production as soon as possible.

The machine arrive Friday morning, 11/22/2024. It is our first Syncrex after spending 17 years as a Citizen only user. Our 9 Citizens are still running production every day so it will be an adjustment learning a new machine. We are up to the challenge but it will require everyone to step out of the comfort zone of the wonderful Mitsubishi controller. The advantage is that the Syncrex controller is the most similar to the Citizen and we have several more tool positions.
