Gent Machine purchased a rebuilt Cincinnati Milacron Grinding machine. It was rebuilt by Always Precision which added an auto unload to the machine. The operator can placed the part between the wheels and the automatic feature will take over, grind the part and eject it when complete. We purchased this machine for several specific parts that we currently machine. By bringing this service in house we will save the outsourcing cost. For future jobs, we can be more competitive on any machined parts that require a ground finish.

As of now, Gent Machine plans on using this grinder for current jobs only. We have about 4 jobs that require OD grinding and this machine is a perfect fit. We do not plan on being a job shop for grinding needs; this is not our niche. We are machinists first and with every industry moving to tighter dimensions, this grinder will help support dimensions that our current equipment cannot consistently hold.
