To complement our Swiss CNC Machines, we have a Eurotech Elite B446SY2 twin spindle twin turret turning center. This is a 51mm conventional style 8 axis CNC machine. It has a fast index and can machine on the front side while an arm comes down to catch the part during ejection. As a conventional CNC machine, it does not have a guide bushing, the bar stock is fixed and the tools do all the movement when cutting. The machine is just as capable as our Swiss machines but has some advantages and disadvantages. It can make larger parts, up to 2" in diameter, but the length cannot be too long or the part/bar will deflect when the being cut. This machine's true bread and butter is a 1.5" diameter by 2" long part with a cross hole, ID and several tight dimensions. Most other machines would struggle to make a part a efficient as this Eurotech Elite.  

To aid in efficient production, the machine is equipped with a high pressure system to blast the chips while cutting the metal. We also have a mist collection and fire suppression systems hooked to the machine. As you can imagine the mist collection ensures the mist from high pressure doesn't escape the  machine and the fire suppression allows us to produce parts unattended without the risk of burning down the machine and potentially the building.
