The hard work and dedication of our CNC department has yielded entry into another market, food processing and food service.

We were approached in the winter by a company that is one of the leading manufacturers of food processing and food service equipment. They serve processing plants throughout the world with their innovative designs and product offering. The parts they require fit well on our CNC equipment due to the complexity of the parts and them being made from a harder metal. Because the parts will be used in equipment that cuts meat all day the metal must be very corrosion resistant but also have a high strength ratio. For this the parts will be stainless steel and then heat treated to make them even harder.

The food processing equipment are also custom machines so any old screw will not work. The parts will all be custom designed and customer manufactured, hence the reason to look for a CNC shop rather than any old fastener supplier.

We are happy they found us and we look forward to growing with this new customer. In addition, we look forward to diversifying our customer base even more by entering into the food processing industry.
