Gent Machine added a production manager to the staff several months ago. The process to find this production manager has been long and with many bumps along the way. He comes to us with over 30 years of experience with Acme, Davenport and CNC machine department management. In addition, he is a tool designer and a fantastic manager of people.

Our search began years ago after our production manager moved to Washington state. We quickly found a replacement. This replacement was a great person but didn't have the machining knowledge we needed so we let him go. We then had 2 rounds of great candidates but struck out twice with offers to individuals that just didn't have the commitment we were looking for. Then, fast forward to several months ago and we interviewed a gentleman that has the management skills and the machining skills to fit the bill. He accepted our offer and now he continues to impress us with him people management abilities and tooling design.

Prior to accepting our job, he worked for the same company for over 30 years until they closed their doors. Dennis stayed until the end and then quickly found a new job with another screw machine company. He managed the CNC department and Acme screw machines. However, he was not happy so he went back on the market until we were lucky to land him. He now thrives on our management team and adds value every day. Please welcome Dennis to our staff.
